A musical sensation while performing in his native land John Valeri trained at the prestigious Conservatory of Music in Sofia - Bulgaria.
Now living in Brooklyn, NY John Valeri is a bandleader and jazz guitar instructor, performing at leading jazz venues throughout the region and internationally.
He has toured Europe and Scandinavia, performed at the International Jamaica Jazz Festival, and has played at the Apollo Theatre, The Bitter End, the former Sweet Basil Jazz Club, Jones Beach,
Woodstock 99' Festival, Trumpets NJ, Downtown Brooklyn series and Kavehaz.
He won the Osella Award for composing the Best Musical Score, at the International Venice film festival in Italy
